IPEM

IPEM is is the United Kingdom’s professional body and learned society for physicists, engineers and technologists within the field of medicine. From this site you can get the latest news about the UK medical physics and engineering sectors. The Clinical and Scientific Computing Section gives you an overview of the field the CSC operates in.

Increment

Increment is a print and digital magazine about how teams build and operate software systems at scale. Increment publishes stories by and for the developer community, covering a range of topics from COBOL to API design, from scaling systems to mindsets and practices that maximise the developer and user experience to divulge the ever-evolving best practices of software planning.

MONAI

MONAI is an open source collaborative framework aimed to accelerate research and clinical collaboration in Medical Imaging. It is specifically focused to translate innovation into clinical implementation by building a robust software framework that benefits nearly every level of medical imaging, deep learning research, and deployment. Open Regulatory

Open Regulatory is a place where you can find templates to create your documents to get compliance for ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971 and IEC 62366. The CSC team used these templates to create their own Quality Management System and got certified by ScarletComply .

Python Community for Healthcare

The Python Community for Healthcare is an open community of practice that champions the use of the Python programming language and open code in the NHS and the healthcare sector. The community offers many opportunities to get involved for anyone who is interested.

NHS AI Lab Skunkworks

The NHS AI Lab Skunkworks runs short-term projects to investigate the use of AI for improving efficiency and accuracy in health and care. The Skunkwork team can help you assess whether your data is suitable for AI applications. They can sponsor 12 week agile projects using a pool of cutting edge AI suppliers with the end goal of your company having working code and a technical report.

Shreya Shankar

Shreya Shankar’s blog is a site where you can find the projects, research and articles from I’m Shreya Shankar, a computer scientist currently doing a PhD in databases at UC Berkeley. She has other experience working in ML and data science roles so her blog includes articles describing the best practice for working in this field.
