The landscape

The key components needed for development of AI models in NHS are three: the data, the machine learning environment, and the quality management system that informs design to ensure patient safety. For data retrieval from the clinical systems, we use XNAT (imaging data), our data warehousing solutions (structured data) and Cogstack (unstructured data). For machine learning activities we use MLOPs. The system design is informed by the SOPs in our QMS. Finally, our models are deployed through AIDE.
