Bio

Karol trained and worked as a doctor before specialising in public health. She has experience working across local government, the NHS, the UK Health Security Agency, and in research. Interested in how digital innovation can support a more effective, efficient, and equitable health service, she became a Clinical AI Fellow.

CSC Team Role

Karol joined the CSC in October 2024 as a Clinical AI Fellow. She is working on AI Fairness and evaluating AI tools at GSTT. Her focus is on taking a systems approach that considers real-world implementation, resource impact, and broader population benefit.
