Bio

Kristin joined the CSC team as a Senior Health Data Scientist in Artificial Intelligence in January 2026, following completion of her DPhil in Clinical Epidemiology and Medical Statistics. She brings over fifteen years of experience in global health data science across industry, academia and government in the United States and Europe. A longstanding collaborator within the Observational Health Data Sciences & Informatics (OHDSI) community, Kristin is a committed advocate for open science and reproducible research. Alongside her epidemiological expertise, she is equally comfortable designing studies and shipping code, fluent across multiple SQL dialects and common data models, and at home navigating the more cryptic corners of the open-source software ecosystem.

CSC Team Role

Kristin serves as a part-time subject matter expert, supporting the development and evaluation of clinical AI algorithms, advancing the use of health data standards, and mentoring trainees pursuing clinical informatics research competencies.
