James joined the CSC team as a Senior Clinical Scientist in February 2026, arriving with over ten years of NHS experience at five different trusts. He graduated from the NHS Scientist Training Programme in 2016, after being recruited onto the scheme in 2013 and specialising in Medical Physics (Imaging with Ionising Radiation). Not only does he bring a wealth of clinical knowledge to the table, he is an experienced clinical researcher and has a PhD in philosophy.

James’s main roles include website management, staff training, AI ethics, and research.
